Blogging for me is really easy, thanks to Windows Live Writer. It’s a really easy, free piece of software, which publishes posts written on your desktop, to your blog. It supports WordPress, Blogger, TypePad, Windows Live Spaces and loads of the other popular ones. It also saves drafts when your writing, and saves all posts to your local hard drive. You can even edit old ones!

Better yet, there are loads of pluggins; (one of my favourites is the Polaroid Pluggin which makes ordinary pictures look like Polaroid snaps). It also is much easier to format than using the WordPress online editor, as images and paragraphs appear exactly the same as they will do once published.

Integration of the software is perfect with the blog hosting services; the software even links to the WordPress Dashboard and comments manager pages. Publishing posts is really simply, just click the Publish button, and voila! It’s live.

This is definitely the best way to blog in my opinion; it simplifies and quickens the process, and the greatest thing; it just works!
