Everyone! Everyone is on Twitter now: it’s the new facebook of the net. (And I find facebook boring). Everyone from Oprah to Ashton Kutcher, to CNN is using Twitter now, and so am I. You can follow my updates by adding jmkuk, or by visiting this page on my blog. Enjoy!

(I’ll review Twitter soon)
I’ve now added two new features to this blog. Firstly, “Where am I?“. It’s a cool new feature that will allow me to post short status messages to the blog via text, wherever I am. To read them, click here. My seconds new feature is the ability for you guys to text me comments. Simply send an SMS to +44 7624 80 81 82, starting with the keyword FEEDBACK. I hope you enjoy these additions; please feel free to comment!

Since the 19th November I have been giving away invites to the new free streaming music service Spotify. Read my review here. In fact, I have given away over 100 invites!
I now have more available. I will be giving these away to anyone who comments below on this post, or on the review. However, due to the high demand, I will be giving priority to those who post elsewhere on the blog (decent comments only). So get commenting!

One of the most annoying things in the world are Spam calls. Those things which make you blood boil.
Report Annoying Callers is a free site for tracing spam calls. Just type any US land line of mobile number into the search box, and click enter. It then quickly comes up with details of the location, and the option to generate a full report. You can also leave a comment on the site for other users, so if it was a spam call, you can tell others about it.
Or so it claims. I put it to the test, typing the number of a big, Beverly Hills department store. And it worked! The website also gives the option to file a complaint against the owner.
This type of marketing is such an injustice. Perhaps this site will help to stop it.

Bingo was once the preserve of the elderly, who enjoyed playing the game at a club with friends. Now it seams everyone is playing, and no longer do you need to leave the house.
bet365 Bingo offers a wide range of games, which can be enjoyed with mates, on your own or even with the family. There now offering an excellent Promotion to UK Players, with £10 free when you sign up, plus a 200% bonus on any deposits you make.
You can also play free during 7pm to 7 30pm Mon-Thurs, which means that you can enjoy all the services without risking, or gambling a penny.
Another promotion is Winter Wonderland. Win £500 spending money so that you can shop to you drop in London, just by playing Bingo. What a great way to bypass the Credit Crunch, and treat yourself and friends to same great presents.
With the promotion you also get a 2 night stay in one of London’s finest hotels, an all inclusive, three course meal, tickets to Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland show, a private Gondola Ride, an Ice Skating Pass, and also VIP tickets to a West-End show of your choice!

Nikon, who I’ve heard make some of the best hunting and observation gear, have started a new deal, offering Free ATB Pro Gear in the from of up to $50 in gift cards, for those who purchase Nikon ATB Binoculars before the end on December; perfect for Christmas!
A friends of mine is into Bird Watching, and he has a set of these Binoculars, which he says are brilliant. Not knowing personally a lot on this topic, apparently they are reliable, durable and clear, which I suppose are the qualities that you want in Binoculars.

Facebook? It’s probably one of the most popular web applications out there. Anyone living outside of a cave has a profile, (even my parents!), and people update it with their everyday activities, holiday snaps and weekend plans. Some people even seem to spend their entire lives on it.
Recently though, I’ve started receiving emails from Facebook saying that one of my friends has sent me a message. They actually have, and the message links to a website. The message also has some weird text: "nice bum" one of them said.
When you click on the link, you’ll probably get a YouTube video. Or so it says. When you click play to watch the video, it’ll give you a message to download an update to Flash Player. Of course, this is actually a Trojan. And that site? A clever phishing website; not actually everyone’s favorite time waster.
How is this happening? It seems people’s accounts are being hacked. Or perhaps it’s one of those cool little apps. BBC’s Click once did a trial, where they created there own app, which copied the profiles of people that added it, (along with that of their friends), and mailed it back to the owner. Because of Facebook’s right’s management system, all a user has to do is click continue on the "install app" screen. It basically gives away the key to your profile to that app. That app, is loaded completely from off the Facebook server, so they can’t see what it’s doing.
It appears to me that Facebook is as secure as leaving your house, full of all your precious belongings, unlocked. Of course, I do prefer it to Bebo and Myspace.
UPDATE: See my new post here.
