image So YouTube have widened their videos, with the introduction of HD. People have been complaining about it like nobody’s business. It’s change! Let’s deal with it.

well i think good quality is nice but i really dont thnik it will matter that much for the regular surfer,
for pro channels it's prolly good
  • But honestly, will it really make a visual difference to most people with modest broadband connection? I seriously doubt it!
  • I think it probably has something to do with youtube's deals with the movie studios. They'll want proper quality for their movies.

This is something I've truly been longing for, the quality has been so crappy before and I have always wondered why such a popular site should have such a bad service, well now I don't have think about that:)
Wide is also very nice, wide is the future!
I don't know what others think but I can easily wait a little more to get a better experience(meaning HD content can take some time to load).

I think this is great. I noticed this the same the as they introduced it and I think its a big step for them. I always been thinking that the quality on YouTube is so bad and the size of the videos is way to small but now it starting to look better. And imagine YouTube in HD, how cool isn't that? I think its awesome and since they introduced widescreen videos on Youtube I have been watching even more videos than usual. So, as I said before: I think this is a big step and its gonna make it even more fun to watch videos on YouTube!

I noticed this one a few days ago, found it to be pretty cool especially with everything being in the 16:9 aspect ratio. Nice room for expansion in my opinion... did they release the change due to Youtube Live?
